Freight from the USA

A licensed and bonded U.S. Ocean Freight Forwarder is open to Contract Work

Ocean freight is the most cost-effective method of transporting goods. Ocean freight is an essential part of cross-border trade, allowing businesses to step into the U.S. market.

Unless you're a billion-dollar company with a logistics department, you'll likely need a professional to support you in shipping your goods overseas. Freight Forwarders act as an intermediary between shippers and the recipients of shipping goods.

However, in the United States, the activity of ocean transportation intermediaries is strictly regulated. According to the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (the Shipping Act of 1984), "Ocean Transportation Intermediaries to be licensed and bonded. Accepting cargo from unlicensed OTI constitutes a violation of the Shipping Act. Knowing and willful violations of the Shipping Act carry a possible civil penalty of up to $30,000 per occurrence."
